The House Of Frida Shipping Policy

Standard shipping service will be determined when the label is created, based on the price of shipping services offered.  All other shipping service prices will be calculated at the time of your checkout. Our goal is to ship out any order within 3-5 days from the day it is received. 

Orders placed between Friday 10am ET and Sunday will ship out the following Monday. We do not ship orders over the weekend. The calculated rates shown at checkout from UPS and USPS are predicted times in transit, not guaranteed.  All shipping outside of the domestic United States will have the option to choose USPS or UPS, depending on which country or territory is the destination. 


International Shipping Services

International rates are integrated and transparent at checkout. These rates are determined by UPS and include the brokerage fees, duties, and taxes assessed by your local government before delivery, ensuring a seamless delivery.



Domestic Returns

We believe that returns should be stress-free, that’s why we are providing you with free return shipping!

We guarantee that you will love our products and packaging.  If you are not happy with your purchase, you can return your order for a full refund.**

Returns must be unused and in their original condition, original packaging, and with all tags attached. So basically in the state you received them. If for any reason, you are not happy with your purchase, contact us and we will send you a shipping label.

*International orders are not eligible for complimentary return shipping, due to customs restrictions.

Once your order has been delivered, purchases must be returned within 15 days.

**All Sales Final for Sale Items



You should expect to receive your refund within 5-10 business days upon the arrival and quick inspection of your return, however, in many cases you will receive a refund sooner. Outbound shipping costs are not subject to refunds. 

*Please note, refunds post depending on your Credit Card Company and Issuing bank.



If you changed your mind, please let us know and we can send you a return shipping label. Due to the high volume of orders we receive and dynamic inventory fluctuations, we cannot honor exchanges. You can place a new order to ensure you receive the item you are looking for, and we will refund your original order once we receive the return. 


Return Delivery Charges

If you aren’t happy with your order we’ll email you a shipping label at no extra cost. Print it out, attach it to your return box, and send it off - free of charge.


Canceling Orders

We cannot guarantee cancellations once an order has been submitted, but we will do our best to accommodate you with your request. Please contact for assistance with Subj: Cancellation.


International Returns

International orders are not eligible for complimentary return shipping, due to Customs restrictions.

All packages being returned to The House of Frida from outside the USA must be marked on the OUTSIDE of the box as "Return of Merchandise" to avoid additional taxes, customs/duties, and brokerage fees being assessed. Any paperwork filled out for shipment should also indicate that it's a return of merchandise previously purchased and the date of the original purchase so there's no confusion that it's a return of merchandise on which customs/duties have already been assessed and paid.

Any international returns not identified as Returned Merchandise will be subject to a chargeback to the customer of any taxes, customs/duties, and brokerage fees assessed to The House of Frida.


Our products are made using natural materials such as cotton, linen, wool, wood, and metal. Each item that is hand-made or at least hand finished means not every item will be exactly the same. We believe it gives our items character and charm, which is what makes our items unique. These are not defects in our mind. With that being said, if an item has a legitimate defect we are more than happy to replace it for you, as long as we have more available.
